|This course includes the following:|
This course includes learning materials to help students prepare to pass the FLORIDA component of Mortgage Loan Originator NMLS exam required under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act).
The Florida Office of Financial Regulation (OFR) requires all new Mortgage Loan Originator license candidates (never before licensed) to pass this Florida component of the NMLS exam. In addition, the OFR requires currently licensed Mortgage Brokers who passed their Florida Mortgage Broker exam PRIOR to January 1, 2004, to pass this test. Those licensees who passed their Florida Mortgage Broker exam on or after January 1, 2004 will be exempt from the Florida component of the NMLS test ONLY IF they make application through the NMLS site for their Florida MLO license between October 1, 2010 and November 30, 2010. Please phone the OFR information desk at (850) 410-9895 for more information.
The Florida mortgage lending and brokering law and its corresponding rules are presented in significant detail. The student should review the sample exam questions to prepare properly to score well on the computerized exam.
Quiz questions at the end of each chapter allow the student to measure his or her progress. Once the student consistently answers over 95% of all the questions accurately, he or she is ready to sit for the Florida Component test.
